The Campus Antiwar Network-UNCG Chapter presents:
COLLEGE NOT COMBAT
Former Assistant Recruiter (turned antiwar activist) CHRIS DUGAN will be speaking on the LIES recruiters tell and why the US should get out of Iraq, now!
Over two thousand U.S. soldiers have died, and several thousands more injured, in a war that was based on lies. Tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians have been killed so far, and there is no end in sight. To continue to wage its illegal and immoral war, the government hopes to recruit students and the youth to its military machine. But what we need today is books, not guns; college not combat. Killing Iraqis is not a career.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14th, 8:00PM
UNCG campus, GRAHAM 204
free and open to the public
Please come out for the discussion on how we can get the military out of our schools, and get involved in the anti-war movement on campus. Please contact Paul at pmlynch@uncg.edu or Julie at 336-420-3987 for more info on the meeting, or how to join the Campus Antiwar Network.
