Israel once banned The Beatles from playing because they might have caused debauchery among the youth. Maybe things would have turned out different if the mop-tops had inspired a little rebellion to the authorities way back when.
No such development is likely to happen on September 25 when Paul McCartney plans to play a show in Tel Aviv to help take the Israeli public’s mind off the consequences of their actions.
Paul, there is a call to boycott Israel from Palestinian artists that scores of international performers have respected. Don’t play Tel Aviv Paul. Let it be.
